In 2020 I decided to start a paper company with Raw...but it didnt work out so I stopped trying for about a year.....then when I picked it back up I found out the minimum order was ASTRONOMICALLY HIGH!!! So again, I stopped working on it, then the Raw lawsuit came and I really decided to put it on hold. In early 2023 I went full force and started getting trademarks, designs, skus underway all the business stuff. From 2020-2023 the name was PUSH TREES PAPERS ....but I thought " what if I decide to sell Push Trees" ..... then they might want me to sell the paper company too since its the same name. So I decided the only name I know could stand the test of time, trends and fads....so PROPER ROLLING PAPER became the name. PRO-PER its just such a well balanced word, says everything that needs to be said even if you dont know its a paper.... Then about 8 months later when I got my paperwork I finally showed some homies and they said "like Proper doinks?" I didnt know of their at the time so I contacted them to let em know about my company launching , they said "all good dude, totally different, we are a show" then they invited me on their podcast, I did the episode and kept pushin. I know a lot of you think Im "stepping on toes" because I worked with Raw for so long....I fully believe there is hella room for more than one company.....because if thats the case Zig Zag should be mad at Raw for becoming a company? No that doesnt make sense, there is more than 1 shoe brand, more than 1 water company. I worked for free for YEARS for Raw....I know what type of impact I have with the papers and I know I can do some great things in this space.....so Im really really excited to see PROPER PAPERS expand into every stash box in America.....thank you all for being here....HAVE A DOPE ASS DAY :)
